I am a writer and editor who specialises in the visual arts. I take on freelance projects and commissions alongside my role as Contributing Arts Editor at The World of Interiors.

My first book, Artists on Art: How They See, Think and Create, is out now. The Story of Printmaking: A Global History will be published by Yale University Press in March 2026.

Contrary to popular belief I am not the world-famous author of The Spiderwick Chronicles.
